Bike Ride to Apple Picking

Weather permitting (of course), we will all meet at the Duck Feeding area parking lot (off Route 128, near Route 30 if you are travelling north on Route 128) at 12:30pm on Sunday, September 19th. We will bike together to Shelburne Farms in Stow, MA, about 20 miles each way, where there are several varities of apples and pumpkins available for picking. They also sell homemade ice cream and cider donuts. Make sure to bring large panniers/saddlebags and/or a bike bag or knapsack to transport your goodies home. Remember that the hills are much higher when your bike is fully loaded. ;-)

Please RSVP via return e-mail. I will bring cue sheets for everyone who tells me they are coming. Feel free to ask me any questions. This ride will be cancelled if rain is expected - I will post here if that's the case.

Invite any biking buddies to join us - just make sure I have a count so I can bring a sufficient number of cue sheets.
