Move Beyond Fossil Fuels
A global day of action to raise awareness to move ourselves beyond fossil fuels. 

 On Sept. 24, on the streets of Boston, join a worldwide event – Moving Planet– calling on our elected leaders, businesses and communities to get serious about moving beyond fossil fuels. Come on bike or on foot, by boat, carpool or public transportation! Come with your community, your organization, or simply yourself to help make one big, bold, beautiful statement:

We have the power to build a secure, healthy, just and sustainable future for our children and our planet!

JP convoy to rally

1-1:30 > gather at Bikes Not Bombs Hub (at Brewery) for bike prep (air, lube, etc)

1:30-2 > gathering at First Baptist Chuch (633 Centre St), music and preparations

2-2:45/3 > parade from church to Forest Hills T via centre/south street

3-3:50 > walkers depart on trains, bikes leave en route to Christopher Columbus Park for rally (link to route map below)

3:50-6pm: Rally for Solutions at Columbus Waterfront Park (Aquarium T). New England will join the rest of the world in a peaceful, festive rally calling on leaders at all levels to take action to speed the transition away from fossil fuels.
