Here's a survey I put together to get some comments on what cyclists would prefer in the Casey Overpass redesign. Some of these questions are based on a questionnaire that I had to fill out as part of the process. So if you ride through here, or if you want to but don't for some reason, then please fill it out. Here's the link:

Update 3: See my comment below asking for desired connections and "desire lines" within the Casey area. I need to provide this feedback at the Working Advisory Group meeting.
Update 2: The first public meeting discussing the replacement of the overpass is this Wednesday March…

The City has just announced a public meeting this Thursday, April 16 at 7pm at the main branch of the Boston Public Library. This meeting will gauge public support for the long-awaited bike lanes on Mass Ave between Symphony Hall and the Harvard bridge over the Charles. This might be the most well traveled and most desired stretch of road in Boston for cyclists, and the most desired for addition of a bike lane. It's very short notice but it's imperative that cyclists get to this…

(Updated March 30 with plans attached, see below)
Just got this from Kyle over at the JPNDC. The flyer is attached below. Basically, they're re-working that whole intersection as part of the Jackson Square redevelopment. It should vastly improve the crosswalk across Centre that links the SWC path at Jackson Square. Right now, the crosswalk and ramps are narrow, and the T-station side is offset from the path such that you have to negotiate a tight turn, often…

We haven't been in touch for awhile but there's lots going on. It's still cold, but riding conditions are about as good as they've been in awhile. I saw some flattened brown grass the other day. And cars (for the most part) aren't parked in the bike lane on Centre any more. So let's join the Boston Cyclists Union for a ride on Saturday afternoon from Copley Square down to Hyde Park for bowling and ice cream. It's probably a seven or eight mile ride each way…
