By no means definitively complete, just a list of bike stuff I know about, now that Spring has sprung, and we are all riding with glee! -PB

Removed bike rack and fold-out wire baskets attached to it. Fixed bike rack (ok, I used a thick layer of duct tape where the weld broke) and replaced, moved forward from it’s previous position. Re-attached fold-out wire baskets in a new position with braces in a new position. Hopefully that will hold for a while. I'd like to share with you all a story about the kind of harassment people riding bikes have to deal with in this supposedly "bicycle friendly" city, where our mayor repeatedly declares in speeches that "the car is no longer king":
I'm biking down Orchard Street here in JP on my way home from work this evening. I wait for a driver also turning onto Orchard to go first, since it's a narrow street, and they'd be stuck behind me for a while. We come upon an NStar construction crew and a…Continue

I took Pete Stidman's suggestion to "Write a letter and make a bridge disappear" by editing his template as a jumping point to send a personalized letter to MassDOT (see my version below). You can do the same by visiting this page at Boston Cyclists Union. A personal appeal for an at-grade solution can carry more weight if we do it in numbers,…Continue
This morning, Shane Jordan (who runs Boston Biker) was nearly struck by an MBTA bus driver while cycling down South Huntington Avenue. Worse, when he stopped to speak to the driver, they clearly weren't having any of it:
“Did I hit you? NO! Are you hurt? NO! Good day!"
